Security and data
Only you see your clients' data
Passports, diplomas and receipts are your clients' trust. Here is where they are stored, who can access them and how to take them with you.
Where the data is stored
A server in the USA
Companies' databases and files sit on a server in the USA, in the New York area, with the hosting provider Interserver. Data is not stored in the client's country.
A copy every day
A copy of the database and files is made every day and before every service update. Copies are kept on the same server, separate from the live database.
Who sees the data
Only your team
Each company's data is separated from the others: every database query is limited to your company. Inside it, only staff with the right permissions get access.
Support — with a reason and a record
The Zenmo team enters your CRM only after stating a reason — for example, to answer your request. The entry is logged, lasts no longer than an hour, and your staff see a “Support mode” banner.
Activity log
Who changed what and when is in the log. The administrator sees who worked in the system and closes a departing employee's access with one button.
How files and sign-in are protected
Files are encrypted
Passports, diplomas and receipts are stored encrypted, each file with its own key. A file opens only after a permission check, and its format is checked by content, not by name.
Sign-in with a password or a code
Staff sign in with a password of at least 12 characters or a one-time code sent by email. Lost a phone? “Sign out everywhere” closes every session.
HTTPS everywhere
Every address works over HTTPS. Let's Encrypt certificates are issued and renewed automatically — for your own domain too.
How to take your data
Anyone who manages settings can download all of the company's data as one archive at any time — no support request needed.
